and my mouth shall proclaim your praise. Believe in me, oh God, a pure heart, * and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence * and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me. Dame again the joy of your salvation, * and your noble spirit to sustain me. Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit: * as it was in the beginning is now and always, for ever and ever. Psalm 55

1

Hear, O God, my prayer, *
and hide not thyself from my supplication.

2

Trust me and answer me, *
I mourn in my prayer.

3

I disturbs the voice of the enemy, * the glare of the wicked;

4

Because cast spells on me, * and wrath they hate me. 5

My heart trembles within me, * and terrors of death have fallen upon me. 6

Fear and trembling are come upon me, * and horror has overwhelmed me. 7

I said, "I had wings like a dove! * fly myself, and rest. 8

Deuteronomy 29:2-15 2 Moses gathered all. 9 Therefore, compliance with the terms of this alliance and put them into practice, to do well in everything you do. 10 "Today we are meeting all of you before the Lord your God: the heads of their tribes, elders, officers, all men of Israel, 11 children, women and foreigners living among you, from the woodsman to waterboy, 12 to engage under oath in the covenant which the Lord your God makes with you today. 13 Today it is established that you are his people and he is your God, as he had promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, forefathers. 14 But not only does the Lord with you this covenant and this oath, 15 but also with those who are not here with us today in front of him.

The Epistle

2 Corinthians 9:1-15 1 For the collection for the brothers in faith, not really necessary to continue to write to you, 2 because they know their goodwill. I always say with pride to the Macedonians, who since last year the Achaia you have been willing to help, and most of Macedonia have been encouraged by the willingness of you. 3 However, I am sending these brothers look bad for not feeling tn proud of you when I talk about this issue. That is, to really be prepared, 4 lest some of Macedonia will find me and you are not. That would be a shame for us that we had so much confidence in you, to say nothing of the shame that would be for yourself. 5 is precisely why I thought it necessary to ask these brothers to go to visit them first, and to help them complete the collection that you had promised. Thus, the collection you will be ready as a show of generosity, not as a sign of stinginess. 6 Remember this: Whoever sows little bit vintage, and whoever sows long, long harvest. 7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart, not bad gana or force, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 God can give you in abundance all kinds of blessings, so that they always have everything you need and also to help them on all sorts of good works. 9 The Scripture says: "He has given generously to the poor, and his righteousness stands forever." 10 God, who supplies seed to be planted the food you eat, will give you everything you need for planting, and make it grow, and make your generosity produces a large crop. 11 Thus you will have all kinds of wealth and will give generously. And you send the collection by us, will reason that the brothers give thanks to God. 12 For this helps bring the brothers, not only will take mera, but when the disciples saw him began to rebuke those who brought them. 16 Then Jesus called and said: - Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 I tell you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it. 18 One of the leaders asked Jesus: - Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life? 19 Jesus answered: - Why do you call me good? Well there is only one: God. 20 You know the commandments: 'Do not commit adultery, not murder, do not steal, do not tell lies to the detriment of anyone, and honor thy father and thy mother. " 21 The man said: - All these I have kept since his youth. 22 Upon hearing this, Jesus replied: - You still lack one thing: comeall you have and give to the poor. So you have wealth in heaven. Then come, follow me. 23 But when the man heard this, he was very sad, he was very rich. Seeing 24, Jesus said: - How difficult it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. 26 Those who heard him asked: - And who can be saved? 27 Jesus answered: - What is impossible with men is possible with God. 28 Peter said to him: - Lord, we have left all our things and followed you. 29 He replied, - I assure you that anyone who for the kingdom of God has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, 30 receive more from the vthis way, and the life to come will receive eternal life.
can follow a period of silence.

Comment: often - especially today - we worry about our debts, as we feed them our children, as we educate, how we will pay rent . Sometimes I've made the mistake of envy to some of my friends - those with big houses, fancy cars and distinguished universities for their children. Why God gave me all these things to me too? Do my children are not as good as riquillos? And then I realize what the Lord teaches us in this Gospel passage, and other luta Catholic Church, the communion of saints, forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the dead, and eternal life
